Back in the Classroom was started in 2011 as a way to reflect on what I had been doing as I returned to the classroom teaching physics and engineering at a local high school. It has since turned into a way to share other teachers what I have learned in my 20 years of experience teaching at the secondary level and my work in higher education.
My experience includes teaching middle school science, high school physics, algebra, and geometry, college teacher educator courses, and advising teacher candidates in higher education. I am currently an Indiana licensed educator in Secondary Physics, and Math and hold a graduate degree in Secondary Education focusing on curriculum and instruction.
